Here's a few pictures of the newest items listed in my AfterWork shop.
Godspeed, Peace, and Love!
We finally broke down and got a flat screen tv. We were honestly the only people I knew who still owned, let alone still used, a tv of old that didn't have a digital convertor and could not receive mordern digitized waves. Lol! It's funny how living with things that are retro and outdated always makes modern basic items seem like super fancy things. My reasoning for this recent 'upgrade' was because we gained space. Space!...which is sparce in our dwelling. I'm determined to make my home cozy and organized despite the spatial boundaries and my husbands tendency toward sentimental hoarding. I'm thankful he's willing to live on used and upcycled things! I've been having fun trying to take what we have and make it interesting...artsy...cozy...
I always have fun with the vision, although it rarely manifests into a common practice or schemes, asI have to be forgiving with two 6 year olds and a nine minth old! At least there's inspiration within it!
Last nights goal was a joke. I wasn't even able to finish half of it. Ha! I guess I just can't stay up like I used to. It's ok. My piece is coming along today.
I'm working on something new for the first time in a long time. I'd been so busy with my shop make-over that I hadn't really found the time to create new items. I get excited to finish a piece once I have the momentum going. I have this laid out on the table now as I'm trying to put the baby to sleep so I can go back out there and keep the flow until its done!
I've been having fun updating my shop which is resulting in certain areas of my home becoming beautifully artistic. I've created a pseudo-stage for photo shoots in the corner of a room. It's slowly but surely becoming larger and larger and I love it! I'm also having a lot of fun editing the images that I capture. Here's a look at a couple popart-sy pictures that I created with the stage that is overtaking my home.
